It could be the wood before you get shirty!

If your logs are damp and wet,
then dirty glass is what you’ll get!

Dry wood is an absolute must
so listen to experts that you can trust.

Looks too good to be true? It usually is!
Come to our showroom and save all the miz!!

Should I line my flue?

November 18th, 2009

Should I line my flue?
The person I asked said they knew,
So I left it and saved hundreds of pounds
but believe me it’s not as good as it sounds.
I found straight ‘way my stove didn’t draw.
The flame through the window simply looked poor.
Away from my eyes the tar did seep,
then through the plaster it did creep.
Cost me lots to set it right,
Not to mention all the stress and fright.
A costly lesson I have learnt
My fingers were well and truly burnt!
